Health Museum Expansion

RHA has worked on multiple projects on The Health Museum over the last 5 years including extensive interior renovations to accommodate new gallery space for travelling exhibitions, new permanent gallery space, renovation of existing theatre space, new classroom/gallery space building addition, interior office renovations, and renovation to existing loading dock facilities. In addition to the built work, RHA has worked with the musuem as a consultant providing programming and space planning options analysis.

The current project consists of adding a new 3,300 sf exhibition space to the south west side of the museum along with 1,500 sf of additional interior renovations. A new metal-panel facade will wrap the exhibition expansion giving The Health Museum a noticeable new presence to Hermann Park. Construction is underway with proposed completion by May 2011.
