BridgePoint Bible Church | Houston, Texas
A relocation of a well-established church in Spring Branch to a larger, more visible and accessible site
BridgePoint Bible Church (then Spring Branch Community Church) came to RHA for master planning and design services in late 2004. The church had recently obtained a 10-acre site on the south side of IH-10 on the west side of Houston. The goal was to relocate the entire operations of the church from its original site in the heart of the Spring Branch area to the larger, more visible and accessible site.
Phase I construction encompassed 56,000GSF, or about half the ultimate plan. The commons, multipurpose hall and two of the four planned pods were built. The multipurpose hall is used for interim worship as well as recreation and fellowship. The commons have proved to be remarkably flexible, having hosted weddings, receptions, dinners and meetings in addition to its primary lobby function.
