St. Dominic Village Charlotte Residence Hall | Houston, Texas

Sited to create a contained courtyard, expanded parking and a covered drop-off

In response to the increased need for additional and improved elderly housing at St. Dominic Village, RHA was commissioned to design a new residence hall. Charlotte Hall is a two-story, 32-unit residence hall. It is linked to adjacent residence halls by a shared common area that was developed in conjunction with the residence hall. The new structure was sited to create a new contained landscaped courtyard, open to the commons via a glazed wall. Site development included expanded parking, a covered drop-off, major utilities and a central maintenance/mechanical structure.
